Since its inception in late 2018, the group has actively managed and utilized the mailing list swissfeministgeographies@listes.unige.ch as a vital tool to streamline communication, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration amongst feminist geographers and enthusiasts within the realm. The primary objective of this mailing list is to serve as a dynamic platform, fostering a robust exchange of resources, opportunities, and information pertinent to feminist geography.
Members of this community can expect to receive and share a wide array of information, ranging from job openings, academic conferences, relevant literature, resourceful websites, to scholarship opportunities. Additionally, the mailing list functions as a valuable network for initiating research collaborations on feminist-geographical projects, seeking expert feminist geographers for guest lectures, and exchanging educational syllabi and teaching materials specifically tailored to feminist geography education in Switzerland. The platform also plays a crucial role in organizing feminist-geographical conferences and colloquia, contributing to the intellectual vibrancy of this thematic group.
We extend a warm invitation to all individuals who share an interest in feminist geography to become a part of this community. To subscribe to the mailing list, and to actively participate in our discussions and initiatives, we kindly request interested parties to register via email, reaching out to karine.duplan@unige.ch or morgane.rudaz@unige.ch, and briefly introduce yourself. Through your engagement, we look forward to enriching our collective knowledge, expanding our network, and furthering the impact of feminist geography within academic circles and beyond.
